Handmade South Texas Mesquite Rocking Chair
Brent is a long-time contributor to Boysville, and is again helping the children by donating another heirloom quality, handmade rocking chair that will be in your family for generations. Brent spent more than 6 weeks building this chair made entirely of mesquite harvested on his family ranch in Frio County. All of the joinery in this chair has been crafted by hand, slowly and patiently. This year’s chair has a hand rubbed finish, a technique that accentuates the choice of mesquite wood for a fine furniture piece. Brent has supported Boysville through different ways over the years, and has created handmade rockers for our auction for the past five years.
